Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Mechanical Dimension Update – Diameter Change from 12.5mm to 13mm

Update Notice

Effective July 2016, the case diameter of certain aluminum electrolytic capacitors has been adjusted from 12.5mm to 13mm.
This mechanical dimension change applies to relevant product models moving forward.

Change Details

• Original case diameter: 12.5mm
• New case diameter: 13mm
• Lead pitch: No change
• Electrical parameters: No change

The modification affects only the outer diameter dimension.
All other specifications, including pitch and electrical characteristics, remain unchanged.

Design Considerations

• Verify mechanical clearance within PCB layout and enclosure design.
• Confirm compatibility with existing mounting space.
• Review updated datasheet once released.
• Validate mechanical fit during design revision or new builds.

Documentation

Updated datasheets reflecting the new diameter specification will be released accordingly.
