SMD Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors for General, High Voltage, and RF Applications

Overview

SMD multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) are widely used for decoupling, filtering, and impedance control in modern electronic circuits.
Suntan provides multiple MLCC series to support different voltage levels and frequency characteristics, including standard, high voltage, and high Q RF types.

Series Classification

  • TS18 – Standard SMD multilayer ceramic capacitor for general electronic applications
  • TS18H – High voltage SMD multilayer ceramic capacitor for circuits requiring increased voltage endurance
  • TS18Q – High Q, low ESR RF multilayer ceramic capacitor for high frequency and RF matching networks

Electrical Function in Circuits

Standard MLCCs are commonly used for power rail decoupling and noise suppression.
High voltage types provide stable capacitance under elevated DC bias conditions and are suitable for power stages.
High Q RF MLCCs are optimized for low loss and stable performance in high frequency signal paths.
